The relationship between AGV system and WMS system：
The AGV system is mainly responsible for the task scheduling, traffic control, remote monitoring and information recording feedback of the AGV team. The information of the AGV system basically comes from the demand transmission information of WMS and points. When the supplier sends the goods to the warehouse according to the purchase order, the AGV needs to receive the goods, where to place them in the warehouse after the goods are received, how to place them, etc. These information come from WMS.
If you need to put it on the shelf, WMS will generate a task queue for the shelf according to the type and quantity of the goods, and assign the task to the AGV system. The AGV will complete the shipment of the goods. According to the requirements of the production system, WMS issues the shipping instructions. After the AGV system receives the shipping instructions, it recognizes whether it is the corresponding shipped item through the RFID or QR code system. After confirming, the goods will be shipped to the corresponding location .
Each intelligent logistics or warehousing project basically needs the functions of material storage, storage and identification. Therefore, WMS and AGV systems need to be continuously communicated and exchanged to ensure the complete operation of the entire factory's intelligent logistics. Therefore, WMS and AGVS become a close collaboration system.
