The AGV is battery-powered and equipped with automatic navigation devices such as electromagnetic or optical. Safety design is one of the important links in the development and design of intelligent AGV. However, many companies ignore battery problems when considering safety devices such as AGV barriers, which affects the normal use of other functions of AGV. Intelligent AGV has a professional security system R&D team in terms of obstacle avoidance safety and battery safety. Let's talk about the issues that need to be paid attention to during the use of intelligent AGV batteries.

The intelligent AGV uses a fully sealed design and a non-polluting lithium battery. For the convenience of users, we have specially designed a battery case to seal the lithium battery in the battery case. Remove the battery compartment cover from the AGV cover and you will see the battery compartment. The power connector from the battery compartment is connected to the power connector of the AGV trolley.

Compared with ordinary batteries, the lithium battery used in the intelligent AGV has the characteristics of high specific energy, low internal resistance, high current capacity, and long life. In order to prevent over-discharge and shorten the service life of the battery, it is recommended that the battery be recharged in time when the battery voltage is lower than 21.5V during use. Intelligent AGV can continue to operate for more than 48 hours at a time, greatly reducing the frequency of AGV charging and battery replacement, and improving the efficiency of business operations.

The battery charger is based on CPU technology and pulse width modulation technology. Compared with traditional AGV batteries, it has high efficiency, good stability, and low carbon energy. It automatically and accurately controls the charging of the charger according to the characteristics of different batteries. Current and voltage to avoid overcharging of the battery, so that the battery life is guaranteed, thus improving the overall life of the AGV.

Battery safety precautions:

1. Avoid exposure to high temperatures and store in a place away from heat sources.

2, to prevent the battery from falling, rolling or heavy pressure

3. When the backup battery is not in use, it will be discharged after being fully charged.

4, the charger is hot when charging, to stop charging
